I paid for the 6.1 upgrade in February; do I have to pay again for 6.2?

If so, that strikes me as a bit unreasonable.

Point maintanence upgrades are free.

Major upgrades, version 6 to version 7 will be your next paid upgrade.

Upgrading to 6.1 cost me 69 euros, from v6 bought last year.

UPDATE: just checked mail, and I had bought v5 on sale, and the upgrade was to v6, so it seems you are right about the point maintenance upgrades,

Phew!

yaya, probably true but it does not appear to be the way that both Hasselblad and Phase operate,
the software is for both an essential piece of the solution,
I always took for granted that Capture One supported all HC lenses, I am actually a bit disappointed that this is not the case,
it is just one element for me in determining which solution is most appropriate for me in the future
So you need to work on worse software and worse digitalback... :-) You know, each system have some advantages. Hasselblad have a nice camera body right now .. But wait till you see new Phase One body and few new great lenses. In my opinion if somebody think about future, must think about Phase One :-) Better software, better DB, better lenses, and in near future better camera body...

I sincerely doubt whether that will be this year or next year for that matter...

I can only say that this will be a breakthrough as the IQ180.

I'm just wondering what is about the canned HC lens presets in C1 that people find so valuable and that can't they can't generate quickly themselves?

Aren't they all just presets for the generic correction controls that are available in the interface?

AFAIK the really useful things like correction of complex optical distortions aren't available for HC lenses in C1 (eg with the 35mm).  Are these complex corrections included for the Phase/Mamiya/Schneider lenses in C1 in the same way that (as I understand it) Phocus has them for HC lenses?
