I have to note the passing of my 3800. Purchased in Feb. 2007, it performed like a champ for over four years with nary a hiccup. Then last week my first clog. Heroic efforts were made to clear this interloper but to no avail. Today a new 3880 arrived. It was welcomed with open arms. Fortunately this update has been fairly painless. All my recently purchased cartridges work with the new machine except the magentas. And I was able to use my old 'dump' cartridge to load the new machine so that I have an untouched one nestling in it's hidey hole. If this 3880 lasts as long as my 3800 I will be one happy printer. The king is dead, long live the king.
