new here
« on: April 25, 2011, 08:53:29 am »

I am new here, and wish to greet myself.

I am a originally a landscape painter, having a fine-art college degree.
As a techno-nerd, I now find myself with a D7000 Nikon DSLR, and a bag-full of lenses.

I still paint the landscape, but the California desert has me photo-addicted.

I look foreword to sharing my experiences here.

Hi Randy!  I just bought a D7000 for timelapse.  Very cool camera, nice image quality.  Hint...desert horizons and stitched panoramas are made for each other.  So easy to do, and so rewarding.  Enough said.
