Hi,
Welcome to the forum.
This place is west of Palm Beach along the Bee Line Highway. The last time I drove past they had closed and locked a gate which used to be open so not sure you can photograph there any longer.
Best regards,
Dave

What's been your experience/opinion of the V500 scanner, sailronin? Would you think it good enough for making largish prints from 6x6 transparencies - say 100cmx100cms square?

I've often wished that I once again had some 'blad 500 kit, but the price of dedicated film scanners has scared me off.

Reports that I've found about the Epson on various sites have generally been lukewarm at best.

Hi Rob,
I've blown Xpan scans up to A3+ (19" length) with good results. The files from the scanner need a little work with contrast and sharpening but the info is there. I seem to have better results with transparencies than color negatives, might just be me.
Have done a few 6x6 negatives and generally happy with the result, with Acros 100 could get film grain as the limiting factor for sharpness, again need to work with the scanner file for contrast and a bit of sharpening.
My flickr page has an Xpan set, all the images were scanned on the V500 and processed in Aperture.
