Very nice. Reminds me of Timescapes.

edit: just checked out Timescapes blog, and he's working with Godfrey Reggio, who created the incredible Powaqqatsi/Koyaanisqatsi/Naqoyqazi trilogy - mainly slowmo and time lapse cinematography. A certain gentleman named Terrence Malick is also mentioned...

I'm sufficiently hyped.

Terje made the front page of CNN.com on April 23.  Exquisite work.

Amazing what the DSLR has done for this medium.  Back in the day it used to take hundreds of pounds of gawdawful 65mm gear to the get the same (or even less) quality.

Fantastic work indeed!

Where would I be able to find technical info about those videos?

http://www.facebook.com/TSOPhotography and click on the "Discussions" link.

And the forums at www.timescapes.org have quite a bit of nitty gritty info.

The viewer comments on Terje's various Vimeo videos are very informative.

And lotsa timelaplse stuff on youtube.

Have dealt with a lot of timelapse mavens over the years, and they are nothing if not persistent.  That's what it really takes, persistence.
