I'd check the USGS.  Their detailed-scaled topo maps cover most of the US, I believe.

I haven't ordered from them in a long time, though, so I couldn't tell you how it works these days, but the info you need should be on the web site above.

Looking for a good map of Mono Lake Calif.

Hi.  I am looking to find a really good map of Mono Lake.  I have checked on Google for Mono Lake but have not been impressed with the MAPS? they show on any of the sites.

I wanted to know if you can buy a really good map out there someplace.  If so where.

I have seen so many great photos of this lake.  But wondered if there are any maps that show where there are some good places to shoot are located.

I know everybody talks about the Southern and western side of the lake.  But it is a big lake, well kinda.  So looking forward to finding some nice places on the lake.

Any ideas, comments, suggestions?  Thanks.  bs

Tom Harrison Maps
These are the ultimate topo maps and lots of great areas are covered, including Mono lake specifically.  I'm also going to explore Mono Lake far more comprehensively than just South Tufa.  I did spend quite a lot of time recently snowshoeing in the South Tufa area; marvelous.     :D
