No idea why - something inside my head revolts against the portrait orientation - maybe I'm just stupidly conditioned.
As a compromise
and after some thought - how would square work here ?
Apart from that quirk in my head - beautifully captured - though not quite as spring as I see it here ....

#2 is the real keeper here, imo. The light is wonderful. There's interesting stuff in the foreground, and all the way back to the sky. I'm not sure that the sky does all that much for #1.

Again, you managed to produce two excellent images. I like to quality of the light of #2 but prefer the motion-blurred waters of #1. Anyway, I love them both!
