Qimage and Z3100 Advance printing features

Hi everyone,

My copy of Qimage (version 2010.209) has problem displaying print preview when printing to my Z3100. i tried all the print spooler options (Formats) in the interpolation dialog but no luck!
pls help.

Hi Samaila,

Did it work before? When did it stop working, after installing other software? Is the driver for your graphic card up-to-date? Have you tried installing the latest (Pre-Ultimate) version 2011.210? Does that fix your problem?

BTW, maybe the support forums for QImage by DDIsoftware are a more successful environment to get things solved?

I never use it with Qimage. Enough preview features in Qimage.

PDQ seems to be Mac only ... Might not be what the OP is using.

From the little i understand about the Qimage preview is that it is mainly used to preview the quality and color of print..? What I'm trying to achieve in this case is about how the print lays out on the printable area of the z3100 because without this kind of preview one sends a landscape image and ends up with a portrait print (ouch!) thereby wasting paper.

Did you go to properties for the Z3100 printer (In Qimage - Printer, Page Setup), under Features, tick 'Preview Before Printing'? I have the same issue from time to time where the print will be the wrong way round. I found I need to set the paper size after I've loaded in my paper, otherwise the printer retains the previous page width, hence the change in orientation.
