Continuous and Bulk systems for wide-format printers?
« on: March 25, 2011, 09:56:52 am »

I'm looking to see if anyone has hands-on experience with a continuous feed system in a commercial application.  Even something I could look at.

I've found two companies who offer these systems- one in NJ, American Imaging Corp: http://www.inkjetcolorsystems.com/main.htm  and a company in China, MaxUnion Digital: http://www.3vdg.com/products.asp

Anybody know this stuff?  Any other options for me?

Feel free to contact me directly.

Hi Ted,
I use the ones from American Imaging and they work fine.

The other option is to buy a printer that takes ~700ml carts.  When they're on sale and rebated they won't cost you much more than one of those systems.  700ml carts add up to a lot o' prints.
