If you're planning a trip to California and the Pacific Coast this summer, please be aware that there has been a significant road slip south of Carmel that will impact reaching Big Sur and surrounds.

Thanks for the info, I was planning on spending a week in Monterey in early April and was hoping to go south to Big Sur and the parks along the way. Too bad
