NEC PA271W-BK-SV Flicker After Wake
« on: March 14, 2011, 12:10:32 am »

I just purchased a NEC PA271W-BK-SV.  I've calibrated the monitor with Spectraview II.

Every time I wake the screen from sleep it will flash through a series of changes in color/brightness for a second or two.  I figure that's just some loading of the settings.  But then it make a couple more adjustments about 10-15 seconds later.  Is this normal?  It happens even if the monitor was asleep for a few seconds and hasn't had a chance to "cool down."

I'm running OSX 10.6.6.

This is normal. The display is auto-correcting itself as it warms up.
