I'd see this as a sort of nice "background photo".
Needs a toad, an alien, a nude or something ....
And some of the white debris spots on the green stuff are a little distracting.

I keep thinking this wants to be a horizontal composition.

Actually, I think it's the green blob, devouring the earth.

I think the title fits it perfectly.

Sorry for responding only now. It seems I have put too much value in the foreground reflection, and never thought to frame it in the wide. Thanks Pop for reminding me of my aversion to try see things differently.

As an aside, if I may, show my apreciation for the people who regularly comment ( I'm not one as I often don't know what to say) in this section. There is value in the honesty here.

You're welcome. That'll be $10, please. Payable to Russ.  ;)

Funny you should say that: I have long believed that a nude improves most scenics. In fact, I find I can't really 'see' them without that factor in front of the camera.

But, if you insist on leaving them out, then the image itself does have definite feeling of menace - to me. Zombies, etc. Or, if your memory is long enough, remember The Heap?

You are so right, Rob. And the ones that aren't improved by adding nudes can be helped by adding bacon, which improves everything.

I would agree with you, Pop, except that's another goodie I'm specifically banned from enjoying any more, along with all cheeses etc. etc. Bugger. My Mo'n'Lo was right: age doesn't come alone.
