Hi folks,

I was wondering how much this back is worth today, together with 40GB image bank of course.

My understanding is that the sensor is the same dalsa one used in P25, am I correct?

Any input on this subject would be greatly appreciated.

If you had declared your intention to sell it, then, of course you would have had to post in the "for sale" section.

Ah I see.

Well, I haven't quite decided to sell it unless I know how much I can get it for today. It is still a superb performer.

Are you interested in the back and image bank alone or complete kit with H1D body and 80mm lens?

It seems to be a strange time to sel sub 80Mp backs. I have an as new P21+ with AFD2 and 80mm in original Phase one case for sale for 4750 euro. Nobody even told me the price is way to high or much to low or whatever. No interest at all. I just don't get it. I returned to Hasselblad again and used this great back for abouth a year with stunning results. Newest technology, great high iso ( way better than my Sony Alpha 850) and enormous detail..... but no interest at all. Just to say how difficult it is. A H1d back is at least 4 years older and needs the image bank to take pictures but maybe ecause it is Hasselblad it is easier to sell. Just my 2ct.

Kodak KF-22000 (discontinued). Same one that was used in the P25/ P25+.

The Dalsa FTF-4052C 22MP (Mamiya ZD/ DM22, Sinar eMotion 22/ 54LV, Leaf Aptus 22/ 54S/ II5 is still in production by the way

I think you can ask a bit more for it, 4000 Euro maybe? I don't know. Let's not forget that people can buy it to use it as an trade-in to a high resolution back, no?

If a 22Mp one shot for only a H1 should go 4000 euro, what would a 528c, the top model at that time go at this moment? Maybe 5000 euro with H1 adapter included? I am still in doubt wether or not to sell mine. The only problem is that there are not much back's available at reasonable cost that surpass the 528c's image quality. A H1d back certainly is a great back to.

It might be worth more to you as a spare than it would be to me, but I do not have an 80mm digital lens, or an H1, so I would be interested in the lot: I was thinking of using it mostly on a view camera... but, on the H1 I could use the back with my Vsys lenses with the adapter and with my Hsys lenses .

To be frank I think the market for used backs has been very effectively pushed towards dealers. A dealer can bring a used unit in from someone upgrading at an advantageous price for both the buyer and the dealer, add a warranty to it, update firmware, address any issues (e.g. calibration lines, bad ports), replace used/worn accessories with new ones (e.g. batteries/cables) and then access then market it to a very broad and relevant market.

We sell a LOT of backs of that generation. In fact we still sell a good number of Phase One H20s and H25s (now 9 and 10 years old) and even occasionally a Lightphase or two (circa 1998).

The deck is somewhat stacked against private sellers after about two generations of technology. Especially if you're not in the US where a private seller can access a very large market 7ish times larger than the UK via $30 ground shipping without customs/duties/etc.

2 years ago I bought the 132c with a 40gb imagebank for $4500 and it was as new with only 4000 shots taken on it, so you would be lucky to get anything over $3000 today, depending on condition. It is a great back though, I will never be selling mine!

I would say $3,500 - $4,500 USD (mostly $3.5k - $4k).

We regularly sell Phase One H25's in the $3k - $4k range.

Used gear from end user to end user can vary in pice largely on the timing of the offering, especially when the product is not particularly in demand. Fewer buyers always has a downward effect on pricing.

We sometimes hear of end users selling their backs on eBay, but not getting much interest or a very high price. This does not necessarily reflect the market demand. Considering that a digital back is more of a "push" product and is a relatively niche segment (as opposed to Canon), a dealer often has much more activity and demand due to their knowledge and accessibility to actual buyers. As a result, a dealer can often demand a higher price than eBay - for these reasons above and beyond the quality of the product, the dealer's service, support, etc.

Currently Phase One is offering 1% per megapixel as a discount towards a new IQ series back.
So a 22MP Hasselblad for example would provide a discount of:
$9677 off of a IQ180
$8,137 off of a IQ160
$4,837 off of a IQ140
We are also offering a similar Leaf type program, too many options to post,please contact for info.
So it has a greater value to someone who may wish to use it for a trade.

But IQ backs are way way way out of my budget and needs. The only back I wish to own in the near future would be P45+
