Best landscape locations near Branson Missouri?

I'm going to Branson, Missouri this month.  I am looking forward to the blooming dogwoods and flowers.  I am looking into Dogwood Canyon park and the area around Table Lake. 

Any recommended places would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Renee, pick up a copy of MISSOURI'S NATURAL WONDERS GUIDEBOOK by Don Kurz - it details lots of great scenic areas in that part of the state, complete with a map, photo, and description of each area. Lots of great shooting down south a little bit across the border in Arkansas too - especially the Buffalo River area. 'Tis a great time to be in the Ozarks!

Go south to Eureka Springs, AR. Beautiful drive, nice country and a very picturesque little town.
