Acrylic facemounting Fujiflex / Duraflex prints
« on: March 10, 2011, 01:46:01 pm »

I recently had a test print on Kodak Duraflex paper facemounted to acrylic.  I really love the look.  After researching comparisons of Duraflex and Fujiflex I found the fujiflex has more contrast, color saturation, and perhaps a more 3d feel.  I'm not sure if anyone has any experience comparing the two mounted in this way, but I'm wondering if the differences are profound?  Can I just adjust the contrast and color saturation to try and match the fujiflex look and feel?

Thanks in advance for your replies.

I thought Duraflex was a discontinued paper?
On the other hand, I left the chemistry in 1997 for the todays pigment inkjet prints solely.
And I think most of the fellows here, has done the same.

Sorry, I guess I need to retract the question.  The lab I used actually printed on the fujiflex paper.  Their pricing sheet lists it as duraflex for some reason.  The lab tech did confirm that duraflex was discontinued a few years back.
