Yes, I've read that pigment inks are better for longevity.
I unfortunately do not have a pigment printer.
The Canon 9000 MkII I have and enjoy is a dye based ink printer.
I have been considering an Epson 3880 for some time now, though, as a mere hobbyist, it is really hard to justify the costs.
Not so much the initial purchase price upfront, the cost of maintaining and usage.
Sigh, maybe one day...
Anywho, I was just hoping that some one here may be familiar with such a combination.
