Burmese refugees - Hartford, CT
« on: March 01, 2011, 12:28:21 pm »

Hey folks,

Been a while since I posted...I've spent some time photographing Burmese refugees both in Burma and, recently, in my hometown of Hartford, CT. Here's a few shots of the shots from a meeting they had at a church in Hartford last weekend. A lot of them are similar, so I'd love to know which ones you think work/don't work so I can boil them down

The use of political and religious symbols is too heavy handed for my taste. It's a bit less the case in #3, which is a nice portrait.
