Hi, i am trying to get a Dicomed field scanback working. I have sofware version 1.73 on a mac G4 with scsi card. Scsi-probe finds the back, aswel as its name but when trying to make a prescan i get an error: error 179, protocol error Gasp.
Does somebody know what to do?

Hi,
It sounds to me that there is a corrupted installation file involved (but I'm not an expert and I hope you will have more repplies from the gurus).
If you installed the software 1.73 from a download, redo the download and reinstall it. Maybe it's just that.

Talk to Mike Collette at Betterlight. He was the inventor/designer/developer of the Dicomed, and Betterlight still supports it. Join the Betterlight forum. There are still some people who use this system regularly.
