Blueprints tips for building a seamless background?
« on: February 22, 2011, 04:52:44 am »

Hi!

I'm getting a new space for my studio and I'm putting a seamless there. I'm looking for tips, blueprints, tips and pictures that can help me along the way.

Thanks in advance!

Are you trying to do a hardboard fixed cove/cyc? Or something that can be broken down?

On a tight budget?

If you're looking for some examples, check Zack Arias' seamless writeup:

I'm currently engaged in playing the fun game of "make cyc/seamless work with an 8' ceiling", and it looks like I'm going to end up using a lot of black paint.

There are a number of available pre-fab cyc walls available, if you want something more permanent than seamless but less than carpentry.
