OK, thanks Doug. So it looks like the C1 part is only 1.5 hours in the morning, is that correct, from 10-11:30? You guys sure do get a late start. And is the 1.5 hours with C1 in the evening included in these classes? If so that would make a total of 3 hours of C1, is that accurate? Trying to figure out if it is worth two days of driving to attend just for the C1 stuff...
Based on feedback from the last workshop the schedule for upcoming classes will include somewhere around 6 hours
specifically on Capture One. We also tweak the schedule at any given event to those that RSVP.
More than likely we will also split the afternoon into two groups - one for fashion/portrait/wedding/street/generalist shooters and one for architecture/interior/landscape/product/table-top/still-life as they have very different needs.
We may also start at 9am, but the 10am has made it more practical for people who are, e.g. 3 hours away, to drive in that morning rather than having to arrive the night before. Going to 7pm is meant to offset the "late start" and provide a "full day". We've considered going longer, but honestly we find most attendees are pretty drained after 9 straight hours of technical training with only a break for lunch, and again it allows a pretty wide geographic area that can return that night.
We put a lot of thought into how to best run these trainings and I very much believe you'll find it to be well worth your time. We offer a money back guarantee (class is $99) but I realize your main concern is the drive.
All still being tweaked and finalized. Hope to have the revised/final schedule for the upcoming workshops early next week.
