Spyder 3Pro -settings
« on: February 15, 2011, 09:34:24 am »

Finally got around to purchasing Spyder 3Pro. I am using a Mac 23 inch LCD monitor - not exactly new but still in good working order.

I have used calibration devices in the past and then moved to just using the built in (Apple) calibration. I didn't want to upgrade the software at the time. (Sort of dumb but...)

Should I use gamma 1.8 or 2.2? And is there a difference for printing vs. say sending internet files?

What white point is recommended - native, 5000, 6500 etc?
