DCS pro back power supply question
« on: February 12, 2011, 09:35:23 am »

Hi there, does anyone happen to know what the specs are for the DCS pro back power supply that powers the back directly? I don't have one and am looking to find a replacement but cannot find the voltage/amperage and charger tip info.

Can anyone tell me if the tip of the plug is pos or neg and what the voltage is? 6v I think?

Hi,

Are you talking about the Hasselblad/RZ67 model, or the M645/C645/H645 model? If it's the latter, then I have one - see the attached image for the adapter you need.

You should also check into the adapter cords by Quantum.  I had a Kodak DCS PRoback 645M many years ago----and remember that there was (I had one with my kit) a Quantum cord that allowed the DCS Proback to be powered by a Quantum Turbo battery (which would now include all the lighter smaller options from Quantum).
