the bird in my yard
« on: February 10, 2011, 06:53:58 pm »

This thing hunts in my farmyard
getting used to my watching him
I think he has a roguish air, don't you?

Lucky you!  They'll eat fish, frogs, lizards, small snakes... not overly particular.

Mike.

P.S.  Definitely a rogue...

Hi Mike!
I see him at any hour, not after or before,
doing his snakebird dance, trying to hypnotize toads I suppose,
he flies away when he's good and ready, the dogs hate him because I won't let them chase him off.
Whine, whine go the dogs-
hahaha
here he is hunting gophers
I wish he wasn't too shy to get into the turned soil of my garden
