It's a very interesting debate. And it's all about Capitalism.

The ultimate question here is whether anyone can make money out of something without putting labor in it.
In other words, anything without labor worth nothing. I think it's a healthy attitude. But things do not work that way all the time.

I think Barry earned it. He went to the show and asked for it. If you don't ask, you don't get it.
Epson would not care for sure because it's obvious that they are willing to sell certain number of printers for less money.
And I am sure there are not many tickets out there. How? In a free market, demand creates value. Someone is willing to pay $250 to save $500.

Barry happened to have one ticket and capitalized the value of it.
I think there is nothing wrong with that so long as he legally obtained it.

What if Barry is so nice and gives it to you for free, he will be free from finger pointing. How about you?
Are you going to say 'thank you' and save $500? Is there any labor involved?

What Barry did was reasonable. Barry could have asked $400 for it.

I have one ticket. If I don't use it, I will give it away in exchange for a nice picture. ^^

Have a wonderful day!
