Small Monitor for Lightroom Dual Monitor Set-Up
« on: February 04, 2011, 10:41:51 am »

I employ Lightroom's option for a dual monitor setup, one monitor for LR's interface and controls and the other for the full-screen photo I'm working on.  Both my current monitors are standard LCD's, (15- and 17-inch diagonals).  Can anyone recommend a high-color-quality smallish monitor that I can substitute for the monitor I currently use for the full-screen photo I'm working on (and that can usefully be calibrated if and as necessary)?  I'm assuming in today's market that I would be pretty much limited to consideration of LCD's, but Lenovo still offers a 17-inch CRT monitor.  Any advice from a member possibly with actual experience in such a matter would especially be appreciated.

How do you define "smallish?"

Under 20-inches in diagonal.  And preferably not wide-screen, although such monitors are increasingly hard to find.
