Just want to thank you for using your website as a platform to inform other photographers and more importantly manufacturers of the horrible quality and design they are imposing on us.
No, no one is perfect. There are some very good products out there, but many are just filling economic niches in the market.
With sites like yours hopefully people will start realizing that they need to tell the manufacturers their issues. Photographers need to send equipment back and demand refunds on shotty products.
Yes 'Caveat Emptor' (Let the buyer beware), but the buyer needs to stay informed with good information (Like this site) and let there money do the talking as well.
I too have a closet of items that broke or was incompatable, or didn't function as marketed. Just like those kids toy commercials. It looked soooo much better on TV and in the Mags, but once you got it home...horror. Still toys, just a little more expensive.
