1. The PA231W is 1920 x 1080 native resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio and 23" diagonal.
PA241W is 1920 x 1200 native resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio, and 24.1" diagonal.
2. The PA231W uses an "sRGB" color gamut panel. All other PA models have >AdobeRGB wide color gamut panels. It still has all of the 3D LUT and color gamut adjustments, however the panel color gamut is approximately sRGB. So if for example you adjust the internal color gamut to AdobeRGB on the PA231W, it will actually perform gamut clipping on those colors that are outside that of the panel.
3. The PA231W has an 8 bit panel. It still outputs to a higher bit depth using FRC dithering to get more than 8 bits. So you can actually see the difference between 8 and 10 bits on 10 bit DisplayPort (use the 10 bit DisplayPort demo application we have posted on the NEC website). All of the other PA models have 10 bit panels.
4. The PA231W does not have an internal luminance stabilization sensor. Hence the brightness control operates as a traditional % value, rather than as an absolute luminance (cd/m^2) control on the other PA series models. So it does not have the high level of luminance stability and rapid warm up that the other PA series models have.
