Some of you are aware that besides conventional landscapes I like to photograph some pretty peculiar subjects like graffiti on old, rusting railroad cars, remnants of ripped-off posters in subway stations, and drips of tar applied to asphalt pavement in the attempt to prolong its life.
Well now I have been invited to have a one-person exhibit of twenty-four of my tar drip photos at the Brookline Arts Center in Brookline, Massachusetts. This show will run from next Tuesday, January 18, through Friday, March 18, and there will be an opening reception on Friday evening, January 21, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. If any of you will be close enough to this part of the world, I'd love to see you at the reception. For the rest of the show, the gallery hours are M-F 9 am to 4:30 pm.
The Brookline Arts Center is located at 86 Monmouth Street, one block from the Beacon Street/St. Mary's Street T stop.
