CBC: Nature of Things 50th Anniversary Photo Contest
« on: January 11, 2011, 05:02:58 pm »

Personally, I got this far:

"By entering the Contest, the participant authorizes the CBC, Planet in Focus: International Environmental Film & Video Festival, Nikon Canada, and Malcolm Publishing Inc., publishers of Harrowsmith Country Life Magazine, to reproduce the prints for commercial and non-commercial purposes, in whole or in part, by all means and in all media and formats whether now known or hereafter invented, worldwide, for the full term of copyright and thereafter insofar as is possible in perpetuity, including but not limited to, presenting them at public exhibition(s), exhibiting them on the Contest website, using them in any promotional material related to the Contest, and/or publishing them in Harrowsmith Country Life Magazine. Participants agree to supply negatives and files when requested. No print will be returned."

YMMV!

You didn't get to the part that says your children and their children to the seventh generation are placed in perpetual bondage to CBC, Planet in Focus, etc.?

Ah, But they can get away with this. They know, from experience, that Barnum underestimated the rate of production of suckers.
