ever since i started taking photography seriously i wanted a medium format system, but was always restricted by the price...
i managed to save up a bit and have decided for the mamiya rz 67 pro ii w/ 110 f/2.8 lens and 120 back. later upgrades would include the 180 lens and a prism finder. maybe the 65mm at some point, too.
i was wondering if folks on here think it's a good choice for me; i mainly do portraits (both on location and in studio- hefty size isn't an issue to me) and editorial/fashion work, with the odd landscape or two. you can view some of my work at
www.flickr.com/markoandmarko up until now i've used a nikon d700 and d90 with a variety of lenses and will continue to do so for some purposes and for easier workflow. i'm aware it'll be quite a drastic difference, but am really looking forward to shooting more film.
anyone else here use this camera? if so, what are your thoughts?
