This is an amazing video to me.  It has the best images of the space shuttle launches I've ever seen.   My apologies if this has been posted before.

It took 'em a bit to get started, but this is really fascinating--thx for posting!

Shuttle engine ignition at about T +7 sec., SRBs at about T+12.
Clear the tower, about 50 m,  at about T+17 seconds. Not bad for 4 millions lbs of mass.

Unbelievable imagery.  Thanks for posting this.

The fact that those long lens shots we're used to seeing (by long, they mean lenses several meters long) are all hand-operated is astounding to me.  I'd assumed they were done by some sophisticated motion-tracking servo system.  But trackballs?  Amazing.
