I own one as part of a bundle purchase with a few other lenses as well as a 6008 body. to add, the bundle also comes with the 300mm. There were a couple of such sales during the time the afi was not looking too good and i jumped into it, so the whole set was a really good buy, in terms of the original cost of the lenses. whether u really use them is another thing.
 the 300 is really beautiful and sharp, easier to shoot too. so far i just tried to shoot some scenery with the 500. i will do some shots and post it up sometime.

 It's a small company and I'm not sure why but sometimes they can take a little while to get back but they eventually do.   I've noticed that I get a quicker reply when I put something like 'request for quote' in the subject line. I know a few people that e-mail with other contacts there beside Reiner.   Some prefer to just call.   I think also there are several other e-mails and contacts on the Rolleiflexpages.com
