Apple replaced my ATI 1900XT with an Nvidia GeForce 8800.  Is this an OK video card?  Using PS CS5 / LR3 with Snow Leopard on a MacPro

I just upgraded from my XT1900 to an ATI 5770 for $249. I added this card in my first gen MacPro 3.1 and it works great with two ACD 30". Leave the 8800GT and go straight for the 5770, see also http://barefeats.com/wst10g6.html.

Apple has replaced my video card as well same change over as yours and I don't notice anything different. I use Aperture , CS5 and final cut pro all works well ..
