I am looking into getting a system ( Hassy H1 80mm lense and Kodak Back ( 16 meg back with low actuations...2000)
The person is asking for my Canon 5D Mk2 and 3000 cash. Is this a good deal and is this a good back? Thank you, rollsman

From what I understand that kit would be worth about 4000 max. it is weird to see that kit with so few exposures on it, but it isn't up to par in todays standards and once you try using that LCD you will miss your 5d for sure.

The Kodak Proback 645 is a great back (in its time) but still produces great images. $3K plus your 5D II is a horrible deal. Buy the back cash and keep your 5D II. (I've seen some Probacks going for 2-3K---FMV varies and goes up to as much as 5K). They'll make a great pair.

Thank you. I decided to go with a Leaf Aptus II-6 instead with the Mamiya 645 AFD III. I hope this is a better move. rollsman

You made the right decision. A H1/Kodak kit would be worth your Canon 5D Mk2 and about 1000 cash, not 3000 cash!
