Hi all
I was commissioned to photograph the Slaney River in Ireland. 19 of the images are part of an installation in the Slaney bar in the new Dublin airport Terminal. These are some of my favorites. The next time you're traveling to Dublin you can drop in for a pint to the bar and check them out!!

Congrats!

Mike.
From me too.
From the subject line I thought I was going to see photos of the airline terminal. I'm so glad I was wrong. Very nice!

Congratulations! The first and the third one are my favorites, the light is spectacular; the second one is a bit to crowded for my tastes.

Thanks :)
Funny. The second (and first) are my favorites. Ha. It makes more sense in a larger size I think. It's usually printed quite large. If you click on this link and than click view larger image at the top of the page you'll see a large preview.

Yes, the second one looks much better when viewed large.

Very nice, especially the three B&W's. I can see they look even nicer when printed large.

Only I have the feeling the third is very slightly slanting down to the left, or is that an optical illusion?

No it just looks like that cos about a third of the way in from the left the reeds are coming towards me.

If you click on this link and the click on view larger size at the top of the page you'll see what I mean  :)

Great job on all of the images. I really like #1 a ton. Great lines leading into the photograph, and great contrast in textures between the smooth water, wooden poles, rocks, and the grainy sand.

I just talked to my client for the bar and they are going to start selling my new book Exploring the Irish Landscape there as well. So read, drink, view and be happy.  :D

I really like your Ireland images. I just visited Ireland in mid Oct and  enjoyed the beautiful country very much! I shot some travel images and put them into a music slideshow. You can view it at this link:http://newayscreative.com/johnw/ireland/slideshow.html
When you played the first time the music may not match the slide perfectly but if you refresh the page and play it again it should work fine. Hope you will like it and let me know your comment. I wish I had more time to do some serious landscape photography there. May be next time.
