SpectraView ii and i1
« on: November 25, 2010, 08:24:55 pm »

I have a MultiSync3090 monitor and a Canon IFP5000 printer.  I used to have Windows XP and X-Rite Pulse ColorElite.  When I upgraded my computer for more RAM it came w Windows 7, which rendered useless my Pulse printer profiler.  ColorMunki does not work w SpectraView II.  I want a printer profiler that will work w Spectraview ii.  Will the i1 Basic work or do I need to go to i1 Pro or Extreme?

ColorMunki does not work w SpectraView II.

It should be supported (the version of the software I’m using does).

Please see the SpectraView README file for instructions on how to use the ColorMunki with SpectraView.

Version doesn't matter. X-Rite service must be disabled in Windows Control Panel.

Had forgotten that the Colormunki service needs to be off.  But when you want to run a printer profile it needs to be switched on, then off again for Spectraview.
