I know what you mean. I am having to do all my sharpening on an old PC while the rest of my image processing is done on a lovely new mac. Just cant stand the starting up in 32 bit mode to run the plug in. Soon as the new sharpening plug in is available I retire the pc.

I have not a clue how to sharpen properly, so I have depended on PK for years. Thanks to PK, I can capture sharpen Hi Res film scans (6x6 & 35mm color negs) as well as full frame 35mm digital (1DSMKIII, and A-900. I am making the plunge to MF digital via a 645D. It has no AA filter, I am told, and have been told sharpening is a whole different ball game. Will v2 adress capture sharpening of the newer hi res MF cameras?
Thanks in advance
Dave

I upgraded. The preview is verrrrrrry slow. That's on a fast system running Photoshop x64 Extended. It's actually faster to apply the filter and view the results than it is to wait for the Photokit preview.

The upgrade was inexpensive and it's a good tool, I just think the obvious upgrade feature isn't worth the bother.
