No, the mount cannot be changed.  The sensor size is 56x36, the same as on my Aptus !! 10, which I'm also selling but with  H  mount.  The Aptus R's REQUIRE a square format, since they rotate, that's what the "R" designation signifies, and thus the V mount.  If you have a View camera its fine, but otherwise only a few cameras like the Hasselblad V system will work--I can only assume Leaf is bringing out such a camera or updating the AFi system for reintroduction--why else would they go in this direction.

That being said, I'm selling my Aptus II 10 also since I'm going to the !2R and have one on order.  I use primarily an Alpa view camera so the V mount and square requirement is easy and for the quick work I need, I'll use my Hasselblad 503cw.  Unfortunately, the V system lenses are no where near adequate for digital or for large prints like I make, especially on these high resolution sensors.  The H system lens are a lot better for digital, second only to view camera digital lenses. This is a great digital back however and fantastic sensor.

Francois, why are you selling?  How many actuations and how many months left on the warranty?   I'm actually interested even though I have the Aptus II 10 -- I wanted the revolving back so was going to get a
12R but would consider your II 10R since the extra MP of the 12 verses 10 isn't that big a deal to me.  Do you have issues with the revolving back?

Thanks Dennis
