1D MARK II AUTOFOCUS

Comments from Chuck Westfal: One microprocessor calculates focus while second moves lens into focus. He also remarked that a significaltly higher percentage of first shots will be in focus on AI-Servo. Now if I could only point the camera in the right place  :(

Like many others I'm very interested in the new Mark II particularly because the specs indicate a separate processor for the autofocus and another for the lens drive.

As a bird photographer I find I'm frequently at the edge of what my EOS 3/PB-E2 and 500 f4L can cope with when focussing on a bird flying directly at me.

Has anyone found any information on the actual speed of the Mark II autofocus in relation to the existing film bodies?
