FS: Heavy Duty Professional Gitzo Tripod with 3 way head
« on: October 24, 2010, 11:01:15 pm »

older style Gitzo tripod. It is professional grade, it was used by a career car photographer shooting with ultra large format 8x10 cameras. It is in rought cosmetic shape but is in great working order. Everything locks down firm on it and rotates smooth. It is complete with 3 way head with 1/4-20 screw, 8 inch center column and legs. It is a 4 section tripod, that collapses to 32" long including the head but is over 67" tall set up. The legs are heavy duty, lower legs are 1.25" wide and top ones are 1.75" wide. When you pull the legs out there seems to be some air cushioning. The legs have adjustable leg spread but its hard to pull out the thing to do so. I dont have any specs on the max load of the tripod but its quite heavy duty, I would feel confident recommending it for 4x5 studio cameras, MF or 35mm/SLRs.

$95 OBO + ship, i ship worldwide too.

Thanks for the photos - the tripod is indeed heavy duty and a little too large and unwieldy for me.
Hope you find a buyer soon - it is a good deal.
