Monitor has slightly blurred columns
« on: October 23, 2010, 01:28:49 am »

Greetings, all -

I have a monitor added to my laptop which, as the subject states, is somewhat blurred in certain columns of the monitor.  I've tried to adjust the "Phase" and "Clock" settings on the monitor but these only seem to move the columns with the spacing preserved.

I was wondering if anyone had experienced the same issues with their monitor and, if so, what measures were taken to correct if any.

The attached image provides a representation of the blurred areas.  The scale of clear --> blurry is represented as white -> black.

Thank you

Is the laptop configured to use the full resolution of your monitor (not the resolution of your laptop screen)?

EduPerez -

Thanks for the response.

Yes, the resolution is set to 1366 x 768 per the mfr. specifications for the Westinghouse L1920NW (probably should've specified that in my original post).  I also forgot to mention that there's no KVM in-line or anything and two separate cables have been tried.

Thanks again!
