Paper Error when feeding in a printed paper with 7880
« on: October 20, 2010, 10:45:39 pm »

I'm trying to print a second pass with the 7880, but whenever I feed the paper in, I feel like the printer sensed there are something on the paper so it will display "paper error" on the little tiny LCD screen. Is there anyway to fool the7880 so I can make the 2nd pass print with it?

Thanks
Aaron

You might try disabling "Paper Size Check".  Could be that's where it's sensing something wrong.

I've also tried that but the 2nd pass will start from the middle of the paper.

Are you printing directly to the driver or thru a rip? Also, what paper are you printing on. Have you tried a different paper. I have this happen sometimes to a client but they are printing thru a rip and generally they have a setting that is off.
