Epson Fibre issue...anyone else?
« on: October 20, 2010, 09:02:21 pm »

I have been using the new EFP rolls from Epson. I printed out a calibration print a few weeks and noticed what I can only call pooling of ink. The driver has it set to high speed so I was thinking this was the issue since I can actually see the print head going over areas (while printing) that appear to still be "wet". So I reprinted the calibration print and turned off high speed...this seems to have fixed the issue. Has anyone else seen this? Try it out, print something with a ton of color and watch the printhead go over areas that seem to be still wet.  This is on my Epson 7900.

The Latest OSX drivers have Exhibition Fibre as a paper option that input the same exact settings you describe below. My only change has been High Speed off which has stopped the obvious pooling of colors.
