Portfolio Request for a recommendation

Please forgive this slightly off topic request for recommendation, but I believe that the professionals most likely to be able to best provide the recommendations I am looking for, visit here most regularly.

I am looking to send portfolios of fine art images to several New York City galleries via UPS or Fed Exp. in the coming weeks. 

Do you have recommendations about BRANDS of portfolios that would be attractive and suitable for this purpose?

Can you advise me in terms of what SIZE portfolio, gallery owners are expecting to receive?

I had a couple portfolios made at House of Portfolios in NYC. They take a couple of weeks but the results are very nice. I went with 9x12" and had my name embossed on the cover and internal pockets for promo pieces.
