For sale: Nikon 200-400mm f/4 VR I telephoto lens. This is a Nikon Canada item, and is such an awesome lens for wildlife and sports shooters. I have upgraded to the newer (and much more expensive) VR II model.
I have kept the front filter on the lens 100% of the time, and the glass has no scratched at all. The outside has a few scratches, but nothing that affects the optics. I have kept a LensCoat neoprene cover on this lens since I bought it, and has kept it safe and sound. I do have the updated lens case for the lens, as the original one was recalled by Nikon.
