Hi Folks:

I'll be the first to admit I don't have an iPhone, an iPad or an Android-enabled phone, but my sons and daughter-in-law do, and they often discuss apps for different uses.  One son does camera work, rigging, lighting, etc. in the film industry.  Anyway, I know Michael has mentioned a few apps related to photography on the 'What's New' section of the site, but so far as I know there's no thread on the subject so I thought I'd start one...

One particular feature caught my eye: "Download PDF Product manuals and guides for over 3,000 items over the air." Say you are in the middle of a desert (assuming you still have access to the internet) and you forgot one of the gazillion functions your new camera has, well, "there is an app for that..."
