Editing in PS 4
« on: October 08, 2010, 11:10:58 am »

After Carrying out a Lens Correction/Manual Vertical Adjustment in LR3.2 I tried to edit the image in PS 4. But the image transferred to PS from LR did not incorporate the Lens correction adjustments. The panel that asks whether I wish to edit the original image or the original with LR adjustments no longer appears.

Any ideas, please, on a possible solution?

The quick option that springs to mind would be to export the image out of LR3.2 as a TIF which should contain all the corrections you made. You can then open the TIF in PS for editing.

You need a version of PS with ACR 6.2 to go direct from LR3.2 to PS - that would mean an upgrade to CS5, so exporting as a TIF is maybe a workround

Thanks, using the 'Alternative Editor' route to PS4 solved the problem.
