Stagecoach stop near Hell's Canyon, OR

This is one of a group of outbuildings from the late 1800s on a ranch outside Joseph, OR, not far from Hell's Canyon in eastern Oregon.

Randy, Good shot. Did you also move in closer and grab the beauty of the detail in that weathered door and the shutters next to it? Also, looks as if something interesting is hanging high and to the left of the door. Can't quite tell from the pic. There are endless possibilities with a structure like that.

Thanks, but no, I did not move in for closer shots. My head was in "long shot" mode to match the wide open spaces of this spectacular region. I was in pano mode most of the day as we hiked on this 3000 acre ranch and visited a few sections of Hell's Canyon. Next time...

I'd like to see what it looks like in B&W.  It's something that I try out on interesting shots taken under mid-day (harsh) lighting conditions to see if a better image can be had.

That shingle roof is just crying out for some photographic attention. Low morning/evening sun, B&W, orange filter ...
