Hummingbird Extravaganza!
« on: October 03, 2010, 10:36:25 am »

I absolutely love hummingbirds. So I thought I would post a few of my favourites from around the world.  I'd love to hear what you think. And if you want to see more be sure to visit my website. I have photographed over 100 species of these amazing birds.

All the best!

Glenn, those are great shots! Are you using a multi flash setup?

Glenn, if you'd post a short article on your technique, I for one would be fascinated.

I am indeed using a multi-flash technique with 4-6 flashes to illuminate the scene. The flash power is turned down so that I can control the duration of the exposure. Ambient light is basically eliminated.

Thanks for the feedback!
