How does Lightroom 3.2 handle GPS / GEOLocation data?

Or does it? If not can you suggest a image program similar to Lr 3.2 that can make use of this data?

Ideally I'd like to embed it in the image as a watermark.

This is for a specie project and is requested by the client.

Lightroom will show location on map. It will print the GPS info with Photoinfo.
Print/Page/photo info/custom settings/edit
